12-31-98 Getting ready for our 1st gig as the new "Little Green Men" on Jan 16th at Hannah's. Gray Daisy will be opening for us, come check them out, they are great!

12-5-98 Seems like forever but we found an AWESOME new lead guitarist and a fill in drummer! Our new guitar player, Chuck Waldrop or BAD ASS CHUCKY, saw us perform at Piper's Lady about a year ago. He liked what he heard. A friend recently gave him our promo pack, he e-mailed us and the rest is history! Chuck has only been playing guitar for about 5 years but he really rocks !!! Bob Cross is an awesome drummer and filling in for us until we can find a permanent drummer. He drives all the way from Vancouver, WA to play with us. We will be eternally indebted to Bob! The whole band practiced together for the first time a few nights ago. It was a blast! I don't think I've ever practiced that long in one sitting . We definitely have a chemistry with each other that works. We even started a couple of new songs. Can't wait to gig again. See you SOON!

10-15-98 When it rains it pours! We are currently undergoing a band reformation so unfortunately we had to cancel our scheduled gigs. We will be putting our energies into completing our 2nd CD and finding the perfect lead gt. player and drummer for us. If you know of any interested parties please have them contact us at 360 866-2284 or email us at greenmen@littlegreenmen.tv

9-7-98 We are recording our 2nd CD! The studio, "Arcade Digital" is sooo cool ! I feel like I'm on the set of an MTV take. And the room sound is awesome! Which means we can record live and sound great without much help in the way of technology! That is what we're aiming for on this CD a live raw sound, and less production. So far we have the basic tracks down on Phantom, Wounded, and Invisible (we just had to record this one again with Bruce and Devin), and they sound groovy baby!!! We will finish these by the end of September so we can get a new demo out to clubs, radio stations, and maybe even a few record companies. Then we will continue recording and hopefully finish the full length CD before Christmas. Well now that September is here we finally have our summer! We have been gigging pretty heavily in July and August. We are slowing down a bit to RECORD! We have 3 gigs coming up this month, (check out our gig schedule). We're looking forward to playing with"Loser" at Hannah's in Olympia on the 19th. They are a great original band with an almost Beatles like sound! You must come and check them out, plus they're really nice guys and cute too! Well sorry we haven't had a mailing out for a while. It's been pretty hectic and money has been tight. We pretty much cleaned our account out purchasing a real mixing board last weekend. But it will be a relief to our ears and Bruce's mind! Hope to see ya soon!

7-15-98 Still waiting to record our next CD. Bruce is working on the studio. In the meantime we are writing more songs, and waiting for "summer" to happen in Olympia. Planning to have a band and "friends of the band" party in September. Anyone interested email us. See ya!

6-29-98 Had a great gig at Olympia Farmers Market. We had to turn down our volume several times but still rocked on! I guess we're just not "folk" anymore! The 2nd set (our electric stuff) was especially fun. We attracted a crowd and sold 15 CD's, a Little Green Men record!

6-14-98 The last two days have just not been on my side. We were suppose to headline the beer garden at Super Saturday last night. Our big Olympia debut! Great atmosphere, weather and crowd. We were ready with great new songs, John's new cloths, and my (Pam's) way cool new hat! (must see to appreciate). We arrived early to check it out . Dirty Birds were playing to a packed crowd and had them pumped! Jude Bowerman was about half way into their set and some idiot pulled the fire alarm. Needless to say the whole show was delayed for over an hour. We finally got to go on. A real sound system, a BIG stage and a full house of drunk happy people anticipating our show. What more could you ask for? We started out with Blood of the Young, we had people dancing and cheering, we went into Carry the Cage and about half way through the song THE fsking IDIOT pulled the fire alarm again! Well the show was over. We and the crowd were still raring to go but unfortunately the event coordinator didn't have enough beer or patience to stick it out. After grieving our loss we packed up our gear and rode home together in Bruce's (bass player) van. I think we may have reached a new level of band bonding. Yeah, that's it. I knew something good would come out of this. Seriously, we are going to try and reschedule a music event at Evergreen this fall. We'll keep you posted.
